William Jerry Neal

William Jerry Neal, 64, went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Moses Cone Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM Monday, June 7, 2021, at Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ryan Burris officiating and burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.  The family will see friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Monday, June 7, 2021, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of his sister, Susan Edwards 283 Chickasaw Reidsville, NC 27320. Those attending the visitation or service are asked to please follow CDC COVID19 guide-lines and wear a mask or face covering if you have not been vaccinated.

A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of the late William Spencer “Bill” Neal and the late Helen Dove Neal Apple and he had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  Jerry was a Blow Molder and began his career with ZARN and was employed with Hayward Industries.  He was a member of Baptist Temple Church, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a hard worker.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Amy Spencer Neal.

He is survived by his wife; Joanne E. Neal of VA, his daughter; Kim Neal England and husband; Travis of Ruffin, his sister; Susan Neal Edwards and husband; Jim of Reidsville, and the mother of his child, Gladys Barker of Reidsville.
