William Glenwood “Glen” Harrell, Jr. (Papa G), of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Sunday December 3, 2023 at Yanceyville Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Yanceyville, NC
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 7, 2023 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery.
A native of Reidsville, he was a son of the late William Glenwood Harrell, Sr. and the late Rosie Williams Harrell and had lived his entire life in Rockingham County, He was a retired electrician with ABCO South Electric Co. in High Point and was of Baptist faith. Glen enjoyed hunting and fishing especially with his grandsons, billiards, and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his daughter: Starr H. Stephens (Chad) of Ruffin, grandchildren: Hunter Stephens and Holden Stephens both of Ruffin, sisters: Cindi H. Isley of Reidsville, and Donna H. Mabe of Kernersville, fiancé: Kathy Barrett Davis of Keeling, VA, lifelong best friend: Skipper Manley of Reidsville, canine friends: Oreo and Zoey, and equine friends Sunrise and C.C. and many other loving relatives
The family would like to thank the staff and administration of Yanceyville Rehabilitation and Healthcare for their love and compassion throughout Glen’s illness.
The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday December 6, 2023 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of his sister Cindi Isley 931 Harrison Crossroad Loop Reidsville
