Wayne Conrad Maxwell, 78, of Browns Summit, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday April 20, 2025 at Brookdale Assisted Living of Reidsville.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday April 26, 2025 in Fairgrove United Methodist Church with military rites. Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating.
A native of Charlotte, he was a son of the late Dan and Marion Haynes Maxwell and had lived in Browns Summit since 2011 moving here from Raleigh. He was the former general manager of “A Guardian Angel”, a non-profit supporting alzheimer’s disease research in Fuquay Varina, NC. Wayne was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and received a BS in Business from NC State University.
Survivors include his wife Malona Robertson Maxwell of the home, sons: Benjamin Maxwell of Reidsville, and Steven Maxwell (Kristiin) of Browns Summit, daughter: Emily Sawyer (Steven) of Garner, brother: Gerald Maxwell (Bonnie) of Matthews and grandchildren: Reece Maxwell, Olivia Maxwell, Addison Maxwell, Eli Maxwell, Isabella Maxwell, Wesley Sawyer, and Ella Sawyer.
Memorials may be sent to a favorite charity.
