Warner A. Taylor, 86, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Thursday February 27, 2020 at the Brian Center in Eden, NC A memorial service will be held at a later date in Auburn, Maine. A native of Augusta, ME, he was a son of the late Everette and Ethel Prater Taylor and had lived in Rockingham County for the past five years moving here from Maine. A retired employee of the Yorktown Paper Mill in Gardiner, ME, he was a member of the Gardiner Sportsman Club and was preceded in death by his wife: Eleanor Mason Taylor, brothers: Frank Taylor, Richard Taylor, and Harrison Taylor, and sisters: Lillian McCormick and Beverly Armstrong. Survivors include his daughter: Deborah T. Sharp (David) of Reidsville, brother: Johnny Taylor (Maureen) of Pittsfield, NH, sisters: Mabel Smith (Richard Weeks), and Juanita Taylor both of Augusta, ME and Alvenia Jones (Lloyd) of Windsor, CT, special nephews: Dylan and Davie, special friends: Kathy Wagoner and Aaliyah, Linda and Jeremy Kahn, and Sharon Jones, and extended family: Mary and Robbie Westmoreland and their children Lucas and Oaklyn, and a number of nieces and nephews.
