Virginia Dove Tuttle

Virginia Dove Tuttle, 89, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Saturday April 23, 2022 at the Gibson House Hospice of Rockingham County.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 27, 2022 at Thompsonville Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday April 26, 2022 at Thompsonville Baptist Church and at other times will be at the residence.

A native of Caswell County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Willard and Alma Hall Dove and had lived in Rockingham County her entire life.  She was a retired employee of Lorillard Tobacco Company and was a member of Thompsonville Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, and working in her yard and flowers. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband: Ellis Tuttle , her sister: Helen D. Apple and a brother: Willard Junior Dove.

Survivors include her sons: Michael Tuttle of Simpsonville, SC, and Keith Tuttle (Deborah) of Reidsville and her brothers: Joseph “Sonny” Dove of Burlington and James Dove (Carolyn) of Ruffin, three grandchildren: Kelly Tuttle, Eric Tuttle (Jennifer) and Ryan Tuttle, great grandchildren: Kelsey Hines, Autumn Hines, Cayden Tuttle, and Cambree Tuttle and her fur baby Sheba.
