Tracey Lynn Gunn Wilson, 61, of Oak Island, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her home.
A private graveside service will be held in Reidlawn Cemetery.
A native of Reidsville, she was a daughter of Carolyn Jean Williams Gunn and the late Walter Allen Gunn, Jr. and she had lived in Rockingham Co. most of her life before moving to Oak Island in 2021. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and was an employee of the Hope Harbor Home for Domestic Violence of Oak Island where she made many amazing friends. She also loved and appreciated various employees and volunteers at Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Tracey loved the beach, crime/horror shows, doing crossword puzzles, and crocheting. Most of all, she loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a deep love for other people. Tracey was preceded in death by her father: Walter Allen Gunn, Jr.
Tracey is survived by her husband: Coleman Wilson of the home, her mother: Jean Williams Gunn of Reidsville, her son: Ben Jones (Brittney) of Reidsville, her daughter: Jennifer Niemczura (Justin) of Reidsville and Hunter Wilson (Adam) of Reidsville and her grandchildren: Elizabeth Niemczura, Lauren Niemczura, Austin Niemczura, Talen Jones, Nora Jones, and Salem Jones.
The family will see friends Friday through Sunday at 421 Lindsey Rd., Reidsville, NC 27320. Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Wilson family and memorials may be made to: Amedisys Foundation c/o Amedisys Hospice of Bolivia, 1729 Southport Supply SE Rd. Bolivia, NC 28422.
