Thomas Lee "Tommy" Young

Thomas Lee “Tommy” Young, 75, went to be with his Lord on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Heath Lloyd officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

A native of Rockingham Co., he was the son of the late Andrew and Rachael Martin Young and he had lived in Reidsville all of his life.  Tommy was a retired employee of the American Tobacco Co., a National Guard Veteran and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.  He was an active member and had served on many committees at the church.  Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife:  Debora Boone Young.

He is survived by his sons, Mark Thomas Young and wife:  Amy of Stokesdale and Ryan Boone Young and wife:  Sheri of Reidsville, his granddaughter:  Madison Young, special friend:  Vickie Alcorn Williams.

The family will see friends from 10:00 till 11:00 AM at Fairview Baptist Church prior to the service.
