Thomas Allen Jones

Thomas Allen “Tom” Jones,79,  of Reidsville, NC formerly of Kernersville, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday May 31, 2026 at his home.

According to his request, there will not be any formal memorial services.

A native of Palm Beach, FL, he was a son of the late Thomas Pennington and Agusta Woods Jones. He  had lived in Reidsville for the past 32 years. A retired employee of Southern Bell in Palm Beach, FL he also was a sheriff’s deputy with Palm Beach County Florida for 12 years. Tom was a US Navy veteran, and  enjoyed working in his yard. He loved building things, whether it was plumbing, woodworking, or electrical he loved his projects. In his younger years he enjoyed horseback riding, and drag racing where he built his own drag racing car. Several years ago, he had begun working on his pilots license.

Survivors include his wife: Eveline DuPree Jones of the home, his step-sons: Eric Curtis of Troy AL, and Jason Brevoort (Amanda) of New Jersey, and his step-daughter: Tracy Curtis of Ft. Pierce, FL
