Teresa “Terri” Hopkins Prusia, 64, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Covington Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will see friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM prior to the funeral at the church.
A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mattie Sue Robertson Hopkins and she had lived in Reidsville most of her life. Terri retired from Equity Meats as a shift superintendent after 40 ½ years of service. She was a member of Covington Wesleyan Church and she loved planting and working in her flowers. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donnie Boyd, Larry Boyd, Mike Boyd and David Morris.
Surviving is her husband, Elton Wayne “Al” Prusia of the home, step-son, Tim Prusia (Ginger) of Reidsville, step-daughter, Heather P. Thore of Reidsville, and grandchildren, McKenzie Thore and Zane Prusia. Memorials may be made to: Covington Wesleyan Church 3218 Vance St. Ext. Reidsville, NC 27320.
