Susan Jenkins Hammack, 74, of Hwy 158 West Yanceyville went to be with the Lord Monday September 22, 2025 at Annie Penn Hospital Reidsville
The family will conduct a memorial service 3:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Trinity Baptist Church and the family will receive friends immediately following the service in church fellowship hall.
A native of Wake County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Clay and Della Wilson Jenkins and had lived in Caswell County for most of her life. She was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of Appalachian State University, and was a retired librarian for the Caswell County Schools. Susan loved to read, enjoyed traveling, and dearly loved her many pets (dogs and cats) throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph Glenn “Joe” Hammack.
Survivors include her son: Brian C. Hammack of the home, sister: Barbara J. Long (Steve) of State Road, NC, her brother: George Jenkins (Ceresy) of Oak Island, NC and a number of loving nieces and nephews.
