Stephen Keith Gilley

Stephen Keith “Steve” Gilley, 70, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his home.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date.

A native of Reidsville, he was the son of the late Hardin Lee Gilley and Betty Jean Bondurant Mcleoud and he had lived most of his life in Reidsville.  Steve was a retired insurance broker, a member of the Rockingham Fishing Club.  He enjoyed fishing, racing and spending time with his family and friends.  Steve was preceded in death by his parents, a sister:  Lynette Diane Gilley and by his maternal grandparents:  Paul and Annie Mae Dawkins Bondurant.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years:  Linda Grogan Gilley of the home, his sister:  Vickie Tolbert (David) of Eden, his loving nieces and nephews:  April St.Claire (Gary), David Burke (Christie), Kimberly Warnstaff (Randy), Heather Burk-Bowers (Jason), Bambi McKinney (Eddie), Kevin Bateman and James Sutherland (Rachel) and by many loving great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
