Sonya Warren (Shreve) Potts

Sonya Warren Shreve Potts, 58, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday July 2, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital Greensboro.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late Warren “Pete” and Mary Miller Shreve and had lived her entire life in Rockingham County. She was a farm laborer and had worked for a number of tobacco farmers most recently for John Ashe. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her lawn and flowers, but most of all she enjoyed looking after her family and being around her grandchildren. Sonya looked forward to family gatherings, where they could all be together.

Survivors include her daughter: Nikkie Potts of Reidsville, her sons: Cody Potts (Autumn) and Timothy Potts (Ashley) both of Stover Missouri and her sister: Micki Wells (Otis) of Reidsville, thirteen grandchildren.

Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Potts family.
