Selena Faye Gates

Selena Faye Gates, 65, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at her residence.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Adrien Bowling Gates and the late  Peggy Meeks Gates Lewis and she had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  Selena was a member of Baptist Temple Church and she enjoyed refinishing furniture, reading , collecting music and rebuilding Hot Rods.  She was a former employee of Meeks’ Cab Co. and was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister:  Jacqueline Suzanne Gates.

She is survived by her brother:  Adrien Clark Gates (Christie) of Longs, SC  and a number of loving nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Selena’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.  Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Gates family.
