Sarah Evans Branch

Sarah Branch, 90, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Sunday January 12, 2025 at North Pointe of Mayodan.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Thursday January 16, 2025 in Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Milton Kennon, Jr. officiating. The family will see friends at the home of her daughter 103 Old Mill Rd. Reidsville, NC.

A native of Buncombe County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Sue Galloway Evans  and had lived most of her life in Rockingham County. She was a retired employee of Dan River Mills and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Reidsville. She enjoyed going out to eat, shopping and watching the news on television. She loved being around family especially the children. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Raymond Branch, son: Charles Kenneth “Kenny” Branch, her daughters: Patricia B. Smithey and Wanda Kay Anderson, six sisters and two brothers. 

Survivors include her daughter: June Smith and husband Darryl of Reidsville , her sister: Louise Surratt of Swannanoa, NC five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
