Sallie Marie Ames

Sallie Marie Ames, 65, of Brown Summit went to be with the Lord Monday November 13, 2023 at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center.

The family will conduct a memorial service 2:00 Tuesday November 21, 2023 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.

Born in Richmond, VA, she was a daughter of the late Richard H. and Catherine Allred Ames and had lived in Guilford County most of her life. She enjoyed needlework, spending time with children in the family and loved her pet canine Nala. 

Survivors include her sister: Elisabeth A. Pugh (John) of Brown Summit, brothers: Joe Ames (Teresa) and David Ames both of Brown Summit, niece: Kristen Pugh, and nephews: Brian Pugh, and Michael Pugh, and three great nieces and nephews.
