Ruth Lee (Boozer) Stanley

Ruth Lee Boozer Stanley, 81, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Ancora Compassionate Care (formerly the Gibson House).

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Reidlawn Cemetery with Elder Jimmy Gray officiating.The family will see friends at the residence, 870 County Home Road  Reidsville, NC 27320.  Those wishing to sign a register and pay their respects may come by Citty Funeral Home on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM, and on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM.

A native of Hogansville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Fred A. and Virginia Ruth Stone Boozer and she had lived in Rockingham County for the past 60 years.  She was retired from Creighton and she was of the Primitive Baptist faith.

Surviving is her husband, Charles Stanley of the home, sons: Chris Stanley of Reidsville and Chad Stanley of Rural Hall
 sisters:  Raye Adcock of Fortson, GA, Martha Opjordan (Luke) of Milan, MN, and JoAnn Ciapponi of Warner Robins, GA, and 4 grandchildren: Carson Stanley, Wyatt Stanley, Kaylee Stanley, and Courtney Stanley, brothers-in-law:  David Stanley (Kay) of Wentworth and Ralph Stanley of Burlington, sister-in-law:  Teresa Nordell (Mark)of Tampa, FL.
