Royal Tabor "Tad" Tilley, Jr.

Royal Tabor “Tad” Tilley, Jr., 75, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Saturday June 11, 2022 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday June 16, 2022 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Military Rites by the Rockingham County Honor Guard. The family will see friends following the service at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the residence. A native of Jefferson County, AL, he was a son of the late Royal Tabor Tilley, Sr. and the late Eldorada Tunnell Tilley and had lived most of his life in Rockingham County. Tad was a Division Manager for Elixir Industries and was a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, reading and he truly enjoyed going to work. Tad was preceded in death by his brother: Ronald Tilley. Survivors include his wife: Myra Bradley Tilley of the home, a daughter: Robbie Tilley Wheeler (Phillip) of Reidsville, grandchildren: Matthew Nemesh (Kasey Frye) of McLeansville, and Rebecca Nemesh of Reidsville,  Brothers: Rex Tilley (Eddie Lou) of Coker, AL, and Revis Tilley of Elrod, AL, sisters; Robbie Erickson (Dale) of Reidsville, and Ramona Winters of Buford, GA.
