Ronald Michael "Ronnie" Jordan, Sr.

Ronald Michael “Ronnie” Jordan, Sr. 75, formerly of Danville, VA went to be with the Lord Thursday March 25, 2021 at the Gibson House Hospice of Rockingham County. There will be no formal funeral services. A native of Danville, VA, he was a son of the late Charles W. Jordan and the late Virginia McDowell French and had lived in Danville, VA most of his life. He was a former employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Danville, VA, where he worked in the shipping department. Ronnie was a US Army Veteran, enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Jerry Lee Jordan. Survivors include his son: Ronald Michael Jordan, II and wife Emily of Haw River, NC, a daughter: Michelle Jordan of Texas, a sister: Betty Ann Davis of Danville, VA, step-father: Billy French of Eden, and his good friend and caretaker: Tera A.
