Ronald Lee Hardy

Ronald Lee “R. L.” Hardy,73, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, at the Gibson Hospice Home of Rockingham Co.

A native of Reidsville, he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Jo Ann Patterson Hardy and he had lived in North Carolina all of his life.  Ronnie was a free spirit, a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, a graduate of RCC, and a former roofer.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson:  Christopher Colton Hardy.

Surviving are sons; Rodney Hardy (Gena) of Madison, Randy Hardy (Darlene) of Madison, and Chris Hardy of Wilmington, brother; Mike Hardy (Nancy) of Reidsville, grandchildren; Destiny Alderin, Steven Alderin, Cameron Hardy, Madeline Hardy, Macey Hardy, Madison Hardy, and Gracelyn Hardy, 1 great grandchild; Whitaker Hardy.  Ronnie is also survived by numerous “Boogie Brothers and Sisters”.

The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00PM Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at Citty Funeral Home.  Due to the covid19 Pandemic, those in attendance are asked to wear face coverings or masks unless fully vaccinated. Online condolences may be made at www.cittyfh.com
