Ronald Wayne "Ron" Hamilton

Ronald Wayne “Ron” Hamilton, Sr., 76, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Saturday May 29, 2021 at the Gibson House Hospice of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be conducted in the Gymnasium of Community Baptist Church  11:00 AM Tuesday June 1, 2021. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with military graveside rites. The family will see friends 10:00 till 11:00 AM Tuesday June 1, 2021 before the service. A native of Kingsport TN, he was the son of the late Howard Louis and Margaret Ruth Davis Hamilton and had lived in Reidsville for most of his life. Ron was the owner/operator of Community Cleaning Service and was a US Navy Veteran. He was a member of Community Baptist Church, and coached basketball for over 40 years at Community Baptist School. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies, and meeting his friends at Bojangles. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Peggy Joyce Hamilton of the home, sons: Jeff Hamilton (Melanie) and Wayne Hamilton (Melissa) both of Reidsville, daughter: Pam Hamilton Sisk (Richard) of Browns Summit, sister: Tena Hamilton Lawson (Bobby) of Stoneville, grandchildren: Beth Hamilton Perry (Taylor), Rhett Martin, Hayley Hamilton Owen (Andrew), Riley Hamilton, and Heidi Hamilton, great grandchildren: Oliva and Hadley Perry, special friends: Willard Perdue, Roger Grafton, Ike Apple, and Jack Harrison.
