Ronald Lee Ferrell, Jr.

Ronald Lee (Ronnie) Ferrell, Jr., 46, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2024, at his home in Greensboro. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 15 at 6:00 pm in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tracey Collins officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the funeral home. A private committal will be held at a later date.

Ronnie was a native of Rockingham County and lived in Reidsville for most of his life. He was the owner and operator of William’s Texaco for more than fifteen years, where he was known by many. He loved fishing, cars, and music.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lee Ferrell, paternal grandparents, Samuel Burton and Gladys Callihan Ferrell, and maternal grandparents, Richard and Lorene Jones Hopper. He is survived by his son, Ronald Lee (RJ) Ferrell III, his mother, Carolyn Hopper McCloskey, his sister, Lori Yount Sands and husband Tim, his brother Jason Yount, and nephews Zach Warner and wife Holly and Daniel Yount, as well as his extended family and friends.
