Rhodalia Chapmon Eaton

Rhodalia Margaret Chapmon Eaton, 95, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Annie Penn Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late William Oren and Margaret Smith Chapmon and she had lived in Reidsville all of her life.  Mrs. Eaton was a retired employee of American Tobacco Co. and a member of Lawsonville Road Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Jeff Eaton, and sisters; Louise King, Athala Kuhl, & Hester McKinney, her step-mother; Eva Tate Chapmon.

Surviving is her son; Raymond Eaton (Kim Yount) of Reidsville, brother; William Oren “Buddy” Chapmon Jr. of Archdale, sisters; Amelia “Pete” Pate of Brown Summit, Anita Dove (Bobby) of Reidsville, Jennie Banfield of Reidsville, Colleen Chrismon of Brown Summit, and Glenna Canady of Tampa, FL, granddaughters; Emily Eaton and Megan Eaton.

Anyone wishing to pay their respect may come by Citty Funeral Home on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM and on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 8:00 AM until 11: 45 AM.  Memorials may be made to:  Lawsonville Road Baptist Church PO Box 1584 Reidsville NC 27323
