Phyllis Hardy Hendrix

Phyllis Hardy Hendrix, 74, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Brookdale-Eden.

The family will see friends from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Citty Funeral Home.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Thomas Frederick “Fred” and Evelyn Smith Hardy and she had lived in Reidsville all of her life.  Phyllis was a home maker and a member of Baptist Temple Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister:  Donna H. Fulton.

Surviving are sons:  James M. “Jim” Hendrix (Jenny) of Reidsville and Brian Hendrix (Emily) of Willow Park, TX, daughter:  Kimberly H. Strickland (Jonathan) of Aynor, SC, sisters:  Paige H. Southard and Penny H. Moore both of Reidsville, grandchildren:  Katelyn Merricks, Rachel Merricks, Layland Hearp, Mackenzie Hearp, William Hendrix, Jackson French, Hunter Pillow and Riann Hendrix, great grandchildren:  Athena Marie Settle, Asher Hearp and Leigh Ann Hearp.
