Peggy Jean Morris

Peggy Jean Morris, 80, of Ruffin, NC went to be with the Lord Saturday March 21, 2026 peacefully  at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Wednesday March 25, 2026 in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Russell McKinney officiating. At other times the family will be at the home of her sister: Betty M. Wilson 314 Turner Dr. Ext.  Reidsville, NC 

She was born March 12, 1946 in Rockingham County, and was a daughter of the late Lewis Russell and Thelma Cook Morris, she had lived in Rockingham County most of her life. Peggy had a love for horses, doberman pinschers, and her cats. She enjoyed planting flowers, and knitting blankets and hats for her family. She was retired from Nestle’ Corporation in Danville, VA, and was preceded in death by a nephew Junior Morris.

Survivors include her sisters: Nancy M. Reece (Fred) of Niceville, FL, Betty M. Wilson and Janet Morris both of Reidsville, brothers: Robert “R.L.” Morris of Ruffin, William “Bill” Morris and Ernie Morris both of Reidsville, many loving nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family would like to thank AuthoraCare Collective (formerly Hospice of Greensboro) for their care and concern throughout Peggy’s illness.
