Peggy Foster Obituary

Peggy Knowles Foster,86, died Thursday, March 26, 2020, at her home.

Private graveside services will be conducted Monday in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late William McKinley and Mary Malvin Jackson Knowles and had lived in Yanceyville Rd. Community all of her life. She and her husband owned and operated Foster’s Grill for many years and she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Peggy was preceded in death by her sisters; Billie Knowles and Katherine Jones.

Surviving is her husband; Ed Foster of the home, brother; Lal Knowles of Reidsville, sister; Josephine K. Talley (Bob) of Duluth, GA, niece; Penny Jolly (Jay) of Asheville, NC, and nephew; Bruce Talley (Nancie) of Duluth, GA.

Peggy will lie in state at Citty Funeral Home on Sunday from 8:00AM until 6:00PM and online condolences may be made at www.cittyfh.com
