Peggy Dodson Shelton

Peggy Gail Dodson Shelton, 72, of McLeansville, NC went to be with the Lord Friday February 24, 2023 at the Gibson House Hospice of Rockingham County.

A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday February 28, 2023 in Lakeview Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Woods officiating.

A native of Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Ardy and Colleen Poindexter Dodson and had lived all her life in Guilford County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, taking care of the household, and shopping.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years Authur David Shelton of the home, daughters: Christine Diane Shelton of Greensboro, and Tammy S. Roberson (Mike) of Brown Summit, son: Michael David Shelton (Tammy) of Reidsville, and a brother: Ernest Dodson of Greensboro, grandchildren: Troy Reaves, Trey Roberson, Cristina Hart (Reid), and  Michelle Janney (Tim),  great grandchildren: Anna Hart, Lily Hart, Michael Rose, John Rose and Zack Rose, and her grandpups Snoopy and Dippy-Doodle.
