Paul Dean McKinney, 71, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Monday January 19, 2026 at his home.
There will be no formal funeral services.
A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Emmette Lee and Margaret Huffman McKinney and had lived in Rockingham County his entire life. He was a former employee of Carolina Commercial Heat Treating, Unified , Inc. and Equity Meats. Paul enjoyed working in his yard, and thought the world of his grandson. He was a good hearted person that would give you the shirt off his back.
Paul was preceded in death by his brothers: Donnie McKinney, Emmette Lee McKinney, Jr., Jesse William McKinney and Robert David McKinney, and his sisters: Marinda Joyce Stadler, Margaret M. Sharp, and Janice M. Kenyon.
Survivors include his son: Paul Dean McKinney, Jr. (Melissa), grandson: Cole McKinney (Brittney) great granddaughter Meme McKinney, brother: Richard McKinney, and sisters: Shelby M. Somers (Claude), Diane M. Vernon, Becky M. Chatmon, and Pam M. Watson.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
