Paul Thurston Fetzer

Paul Thurston Fetzer, 77, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his home in Winston-Salem.

The family will see friends at Citty Funeral Home on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and at other times at the home of his brother:  Fred Fetzer 185 Geneva Dr. Eden, NC 27288.

Paul was a son of the late William “Bill” and Catherine Bendall Fetzer and was born in Reidsville on Wednesday, July 16, 1947.  He had lived in Winston for the past 40 years where he worked at Tanglewood Golf Course.  Paul was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and he loved playing golf.  He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister:  Jane Fetzer Thompson.

He is survived by his brother:  Charles “Fred” Fetzer (Patricia) of Eden, nephews:  Dennis Thompson (Melodie) of Forest, VA and Michael Thompson, his niece:  Rachel Fetzer of Eden, and by great niece:  Brittany Thompson and great nephew:  Christian Thompson.
