Nathan Curtis McKinney, 62, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, May 4, 2026,at Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arnold Peters officiating and burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Caswell Co. he was a son of Marie Tucker Jones and the Late Lawrence Frank McKinney and he had lived in Caswell Co. most of his life. Nathan was a retired Foreman with the N.C. Dept of Tansportation, a member of Bibleway Community Church where he had served as an Elder and served on the building and grounds committee. Nathan cooked for the church meals and he was an avid salt water fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Angie Wheatley of the home, 1 daughter: Crystal McKinney of the home, his mother: Marie Tucker Jones of Reidsville, his brother: Kevin McKinney of Ruffin and his sister: Lisa Benson of Pawnee City, NE.
The family will see friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the residence,365 Joe Cobb Rd. Ruffin, NC 27326.
