Nannie Katherine Pruitt

Nannie Katherine Pruitt, 89, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday September 5, 2021 at the Gibson House Hospice of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 8, 2021 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will see friends 1:00 P.M. till 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 8, 2021 one hour before the service and at other times will be at the home of her son Timothy Pruitt 230 Pleasant Lane Reidsville, NC. A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of the late Willie C. and Nora Crowder Pruitt and had lived in Rockingham County most of her life. She was a homemaker, enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, reading and watching television. Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her husband Haywood Pruitt, brothers: Matthew “Buster” Pruitt, Jack Pruitt, and Buck Pruitt, and sisters: Dorothy McDaniel, and Lee Ward. Survivors include: sons: Tony C. Pruitt (Jayne) and Timothy Pruitt, Sr. (Wanda) both of Reidsville, brother: Townes “Junior” Pruitt of Reidsville, grandchildren: Stephanie Taylor, Chad Pruitt, and Timothy Pruitt, Jr. and six great grandchildren.
