Nancy Dockery Benfield

Nancy Dockery Benfield, 77, went to be with her family in heaven, on Friday, January 11, 2019.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Rowe and Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Ernest Albert and Myrtle Irene Alderman Dockery and she had lived in Reidsville all of her life.  Nancy was retired from Cone Mills and she was of Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband;  David Benfield, her daughter;  Natalie Manus, and her son; Chucky Denny.

Surviving is her son; Clint Benfield (Amelia) of Reidsville, daughter;  Cheryl Harris (David) of Reidsville, sister;  Geneva Pruitt of Reidsville, grandchildren;  Tabitha Lester, Joshua Annas, Rick Annas Jr., Travis Manus, & Shane Troxler, 8 great grandchildren.

The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00PM Monday, January 14, 2019, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times at the residence, 107 Thompson Heights Rd.  Reidsville, NC 27320.
