Mitzy Combs Page, 83 of Elon went to be with the Lord Friday October 17, 2025 at her home after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday October 25, 2025 at Camp Springs Community Church with Rev. Scott Reavis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Friday October 24, 2025 at Citty Funeral Home.
A native of Caswell County, she was a daughter of the late James Irvin and Mildred Walker Combs and had lived most of her life in the Pagetown Community of Caswell County. A retired teacher, she had taught first grade for many years at Altamahaw Ossipee Elementary School. A member of Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Organization for women educators, she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Lee Page. She was a very active member of Camp Springs Community Church, where she had served on many committees throughout the years. Mitzy enjoyed gardening, and reading, and for many years she helped with Caswell County Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and looked forward to family gatherings.
Survivors include her daughters: Teresa Page of Elon and Tanya P. Chu (Allen) of Emerald Isle, brother: Jerry Combs (Sally) of Elon, grandchildren: Sarah Chu Leong (Luke) of Cincinnati, OH, and Ryan Chu of New York City, NY., great granddaughter: Elise Leong.
