Mildred Anne Jenkins Tactikos

Mildred Anne Jenkins Tactikos, 94, formerly of Amityville, NY, went to be with the Lord Monday March 1, 2021 at the Penn Nursing Center Reidsville, NC. She had lived in Reidsville since December 2020 to be near her family. At a later date, she will be buried in New York beside her husband. A native of Rockville Center, NY, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Mildred Cooke Jenkins and had lived most of her life in New York. She was a graduate of Syracuse University and received a Masters Degree from C.W. Post University. She taught at Our Redeemer Lutheran School in Seaford, NY and was preceded in death by her husband: Alvin Frank Zulauf, Jr. and a sister: Barbara Cameron. Survivors include her son: Frank Zulauf of Reidsville, and daughters: Wendy Jenkins Kelly of Reidsville, NC, and Deborah Anne Agins of Mahopac, NY, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
