Mildred Taylor Garrison, 100, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 30, 2023.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2023, at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jason Reid officiating.
A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Dillard Frederick and Lucy Etta Talley Taylor and she had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was a retired employee of the American Tobacco Co. and a member of Reidsville Alliance Church. Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by her husband: Henry C. Garrison, sisters: Kathleen Taylor, Marguerite Martin, Elizabeth Taylor and Gladys Gunn, and a step-son: Carl Wayne Garrison.
She is survived by her step-daughters: Susan Reid of Reidsville and Carolyn Fuqua of Summerfield, step-son: Jerry Garrison (Sandy) of Reidsville, brother: Dillard Taylor of Reidsville, 6 step-grandchildren,11 step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
