Michael Ray Creed

Michael Ray Creed, 47, of Reidsville died unexpectedly Saturday March 20, 2021 at his mother’s home. Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 P.M. Sunday March 28, 2021 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Todd officiating. The family will see friends following the service at Citty Funeral Home. The family requests that masks be worn and social distancing be observed by those attending the service. A native of Rockingham County, he is a son of Rose Orowitz Creed and the late James Robertson “Crow” Creed and had lived in Rockingham County his entire life. He was a general contractor and the owner/operator of Gateway Builders. Michael was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church and was preceded in death by his father: James Robertson “Crow” Creed. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. An accomplished cook he enjoyed gardening. Survivors include: his daughter: Chelsey Creed of Eden, mother: Rose Orowitz Creed of Reidsville, sister: Anne Marie Shaw and husband Jim of High Point, brother: Jamie Creed and wife Mia of Kernersville, his fiancé: Dana Brewer of Reidsville, special aunt: Becky Creed, and several loving nieces and nephews.
