Michael Lyndon Bayne

Michael Lyndon “Mike” Bayne, 64, died on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at his home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00AM Thursday, March 25, 2021, in Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Chris Cox officiating and military rites by the US Navy.  Due to the COVID19 Pandemic, those attending the service are asked to please wear masks or face coverings and to observe social distancing.  If you wish to pay your respects, you may come by Citty Funeral Home on Tuesday or Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM to view Mike and sign the register.  The family will  be receiving friends at the home of his son:  James M. Bayne  100 Friar Tuck Ln.  Reidsville, NC  27320.

A native of Shreveport, LA he was a son of the late Lyndon Monroe and Kathryn Rose Snyder Bayne and had lived here most of his life.  Mike was a welder by trade and a US Navy Veteran.

Surviving are sons; James M. Bayne (Michelle) of Reidsville and Michael Lyndon Bayne II of Burlington,  step-children;  Tina Sawyers (Jason)of Reidsville, Devon Hall of Burlington, and Michael Warf (Jennifer) of Collinsville, VA, grandchildren;  Payten Bayne and Jaxen Bayne, step-grandson;  Ben Sawyers (Hunter).
