Mary Frances (Talley) Wheeler

Mary Frances Talley Wheeler, 84, of Greensboro, NC went to be with the Lord Friday August 23, 2024 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital Greensboro.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday August 28, 2024 in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Elder D. Eric Sturdivant officiating. You may come by the funeral home 8:00 AM till 6:00 PM Monday August 26, 2024 and Tuesday August 27, 2024 to sign the register and show you respects.

A native of Halifax County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Claude A. and Edith Moorefield Talley and had lived in Guilford County most of her life. She was a retired CNA having worked in the private sector as a sitter. She enjoyed cooking, traveling to the beach, and working in her yard and flowers. She loved her cats especially “Alexis”, and looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and family. Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Lacy Lee Wheeler, Sr. a daughter: Debra Wheeler, a son: Bobby Lee Wheeler and her brothers: Claude Allen Talley, Jr. and Ronnie Talley.

Survivors include a son: Lacy L. Wheeler Jr. (Mary) of Greensboro, daughters, Sabrina W. Brewer (Brian Ellis) and Cheryl Edmonds (Scott) both of Gibsonville, brother: Bill Talley (Kathy) of Chatham, VA, grandchildren: Tuesday Huskey (Jeremy), Heather Varner (Matt), Crystal Royster, Sabrina Whitlow, and Chris Whitlow, great grandchildren: Makayla Witt, Noah Witt, Tucker Huskey, Caroline Varner and nine other great grandchildren.
