Mary Bolden Smith

Mary Bolden Smith, 72, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Saturday July 3, 2021 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday July 6, 2021 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Hester officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the funeral home. A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey Franklin Bolden, Sr. and the late Cliffie Dent Bolden and had lived her entire life in Reidsville. She was a beautician having worked for Studio 29 and later Mirrors Mirrors Beauty Salon, and was a graduate of Troutman’s Beauty School. Mary was of the Baptist faith and she and her husband used to enjoy boating. She was preceded in death by her husband James Smith, sisters: Joann Bolden and Cindy Haymore, and brothers: Frankie Bolden and David Bolden. Survivors include her daughter: Wendy S. Williams of Reidsville, son: Michael Smith (Brenda) of Reidsville, brother: Gene Bolden (Geneva) of Reidsville, sisters: Karen Neiman (Michael) of Whitsett, and Tamika Hussey of Reidsville, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
