Margie Strader Allen

Margie Strader Allen, 93, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at her home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 22, 2024, in Happy Home Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Lankford officiating.  The family will see friends immediately following the service.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Fletcher Reid and Elsie Scearce Strader and she had lived in Ruffin most of her life.  Margie was a member of Happy Home Church and she was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband:  James W. “Tim” Allen, her sisters:  Sybil S. Jones and Joanne S. Stokes.

Margie is survived by her son:  Timothy Dale Allen and his wife:  Cheryl H. Allen of Reidsville and 1 grandchild:  Tracy Lynn Allen of Clear Water, FL.  The family would like to thank her caregivers, Wendy and Patsy, for their kind and loving care.
