Margaret Rose (Whitman) Waddell

Margaret Whitman Waddell, 78, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday November 10, 2021.

Memorial Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 14, 2021 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel. The family will see friends following the service in the funeral home.

A native of Simpsonville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Paris and Fannie Hoyle Whitman and hd lived in Rockingham County for the last 47 years. A home maker, she was a beekeeper, a good cook, enjoyed reading and traveling especially the beach. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Raymond Rivers, her son: Bobby Rivers, a grandson: Cory Rivers, her brothers: Frank Whitman and Walt Whitman, sisters: Mary Jo Smith and an infant sister.

Survivors include sons: Ray Rivers and Wayne Rivers both of Robbins, NC, daughter: Wanda R. Pruitt (Tim) of Reidsville, sisters: Patsy Soyars (Frank) of Thomasville, and Edith Dohig of Kernersville, nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
