Margaret Layne Boulware

Margaret Layne Boulware, 94, formerly of Eden, went to be with the Lord Saturday October 1, 2022, at Yanceyville Rehabilitation and Healthcare. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 5, 2022, in Lively Stones Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday October 4, 2022, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of her brother James H. Layne 2222 Chandlers Mill Rd. Pelham, NC. A native of Danville, VA, she was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Birdie Wright Layne and had lived in Caswell County most of her life. She was a member of River Oak Church of God in Danville, VA, a former volunteer with Commonwealth Hospice and was a former employee of Dan River Mills in Danville, VA. Mrs. Boulware was preceded in death by her husband: Arthur O. Boulware, sons: Bobby Lee Pruitt, Larry Wayne Pruitt, and Michael Dean Pruitt, sisters: Mildred Chapman and Helen Stephens, and a brothers: John D. Layne and Andrew J. Layne, Jr. Survivors include her son: Ray. J. Pruitt, Sr. and wife Betty of Virgilina,VA, and her brothers: Thomas E. Layne and wife Shirley of Pelham, and James H. Layne and wife Rachel of Pelham, ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Boulware family.
