Lula Smith

Lula Smith, 100, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Cypress Valley Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, January 13, 2025, in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Laster and burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late James H. and Rosa Belle Hyler Smith and she had lived in the Lake Hunt community most of her life.  Lula was a retired employee of Sylvania/GTE, and a member of Community Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her 11 siblings.

Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
