Louise Martin Simpson

Louise Martin Simpson, 99, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Thursday September 4, 2025 at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 6, 2025 at Grace Fellowship at South Park. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will see friends from 1:00 PM till 2:00 P.M.  at the church before the service.

A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jeffferson and Dora Fuqua Martin and had lived in Reidsville her entire life. A self- employed beautician, Louise was a member of Grace Fellowship at South Park, where she was a member of the Women’s Circle. Louise enjoyed working in her flowers and yard. She enjoyed traveling especially to the beach and was always ready to go at any time.

She was preceded in death by her husband : Harold Knight Simpson, her sisters: Dora Dean Martin, Ruth M. Carroll, Ila Mae Pettigrew, Tommie Jane Somers, and her brother: William Allen Martin.  

Survivors include her daughter: Cindy Yount (Al) of Matthews, her son: Mickey Simpson (Patricia) of Summerfield, grandchildren: Josh Yount (Mandy) of Charlotte, Emily Haake (Dana) of Weddington, Tony Spencer (Heather) of Raleigh, and Heather Hubbard (John) of Summerfield, great grandchildren: Noah Haake, Eli Haake, Simon Spencer, Violet Spencer, Jack Hubbard, Ellie Hubbard, and Reese Hubbard.
