Lois Marie (Durham) Hardy

Marie Durham Hardy, 85, of Ruffin, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at her home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Milton Kennon, Jr. and Rev. Doug Bray officiating.

A native of Caswell Co., she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Lila Mae Atkins Durham and she had lived in the Casville Community of Caswell Co. all of her life.  Marie was retired from Dan River Mills and she was of Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband:  Curtis Wayne “Bud” Hardy, her daughter:  Lisa Hardy, her brother:  John Edward Durham, and her sister:  Dorothy “Dot” Inman.

She is survived by her daughter:  Sharon H. Carter (Robert) of Caswell Co., her granddaughter:  Casey Allen, her great grandson:  Ryan Allen and her nephew who was like a son:  David Hardy (Pam). Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Hardy family.  The family will see friends at the home of her daughter:  10411 Park Springs Rd. Ruffin, NC 27326
