Linda Jessie Jones

Linda Jessie Jones,81, of Jacksonville, NC went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Greenview Cemetery in Reidsville, NC with Rev. David Jessie officiating.  The family will see friends on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM at Citty Funeral Home in Reidsville, NC  prior to the service.

A native of Reidsville, she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Margaret Madison Jessie and she had lived in Jacksonville, NC for the past 48 years.  Linda was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and was a retired manager with Hardees.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband:  Richard Lee Jones, Sr. and by 2 sisters:  Helen McGrady and Martha Jessie.

She is survived by her 3 sons:  Richard Lee Jones, Jr. (Mary Louise) of Jacksonville, NC, Charles David Jones of Sherman Oaks, CA, and Jeffrey D. Jones (Nita) of Concord, NC, her brothers:  John Wesley Jessie (Wilma) of Reidsville and Rev. David Jessie (Lynn) of Rock Cave, WV, her sister, Doris Jessie of Greensboro, her grandchildren, Richie Jones, Ryan Jones (Julia), Emma Grace Jones, Myers Jones (Savannah), Helen Fincher (Kyle), and Sam Jones, Great Grandchildren, Jax Jones and Brox Jones.
