Lawanna Stanley Hopkins, 72, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Marvin Bowman officiating.
A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Nannie Fain Stanley and she had lived in Reidsville all of her life. An avid reader, she loved to collect classic books.
Lawanna was preceded in death and now reunited in heaven with her parents, Joseph Stanley and Nannie Stanley, her husband, Ted Hopkins, brother, Kenneth Stanley, and her best friend in this world and grandson, Ethan Hopkins.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Brian Hopkins and his wife, Pamela Moricle Hopkins, brothers, Randell Stanley (Amy) and Kevin Stanley, grandchildren, Jeremiah Moricle and Kenan Hopkins, great grandchildren, Thomas Moricle, Ella Hopkins and Ryder Moricle and many loving family members,
