Laura Lee (Robertson) Shreve

Laura Lee Robertson Shreve, 82, of 1568 Harrison Cross Road Loop, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at her home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2024, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Josh House officiating.

A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Albert Blaylock Robertson  and the late Margaret Walker Robertson VanHook and she had lived in Reidsville all of her life.

Laura retired from the Rockingham Co. Dept. of Social Services and she was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.  Laura loved antiques, auctions, flowers and she was a master gardner.  She was preceded in death by her parents,her husband:  Frank Shreve, brothers:  Albert Robertson, Paul Robertson, M.P. Robertson and Willard Robertson, sisters:  Margaret King and Louise Gilliam.

Surviving is her son:  Stephen Shreve (Elizabeth) of Reidsville and Suzanne S. Jones (Chris) of Stoneville, brother:  Joe Robertson (Rita) of Rock Hill, SC, her grandchildren:  Megan Jones Butler (Brandon) and Eli Hayes, great grandson:  Luke Butler.  The family would like to thank her nurses:  Anna, Jessica, and Renee for their loving care and kindness.   The family will see friends at the home, 1568 Harrison Cross Road  Reidsville, NC 27320.  Memorials may be made to:  AuthoraCare Collective 2500 Summit Ave. Greensboro, NC  27405  Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Shreve family and online condolences may be made at www.cittyfh.com
