Laura Osborne McWaters

Laura Osborne McWaters, 82, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday,May 15, 2018, at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with Rev. Grover Holder officiating.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

A native of Rowan Co., she was a daughter of the late James Talton and Margaret Cooper Osborne and had lived in Kernersville before moving to Reidsville in 1978.Mrs. McWaters was a home maker and a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Bobby McWaters, a daughter;  Barbara Hiott, brothers; Jack Osborne, Anthony Osborne, & James Osborne, and by a sister;  Carol Scarboro.

Surviving is her daughter;  Kellie M. Meador & husband; David of Reidsville, sisters;  Joline Griffin of Charlotte and Peggy Austin of Kannapolis, grandchildren; Amber Cline, Bethany Hoke, and Kelsie Meador, great grandchildren;  Elaena & Kayden,  special niece; Kim Orbison,  God daughters; Marie Byrd, Cathy Lemons, & Courtney Byrd.

The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00PM Monday, May 14, 2018, at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and at other times at the home of her daughter:  Kellie Meador 2500 Ashley Loop Reidsville, NC 27320.  The family would like to thank Dr. Ed Hawkins and his staff and also the staff and management of Hospice of Rockingham Co. for their care and concern.  Memorials may be made to:  Mt.
