A native of Rockingham County, Larry was the son of Paul Henry Lemons, Jr., and the late Sarah Jaqueline “Jackie” Wilson Lemons. Larry lived and worked in Asheboro for thirty years before moving back to his childhood home in Reidsville in 2010 and becoming a member of Speedwell Presbyterian Church. He loved his family and looked forward to the annual family beach trips where he enjoyed relaxing on the beach, body surfing, and going for runs in the hottest part of the day. He loved his many canine companions, especially his current German Shepherd Bear, named after Yogi Berra. Larry was preceded in death by his son: Larry Alan “L.J.” Lemons Jr., and his mother: Sarah Jacqueline “Jackie” Wilson Lemons.
