Obituary

Kevin Todd Walker, 64, of Westminster, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at BridgingLife Dove House.

Born April 20, 1958 in Reidsville, North Carolina he was the son of the late Robert Lee Walker and the late Lolita Olivia (Saunders) Cunningham. He was the beloved husband of Brenda Basler Walker, his loving wife of 42 years.

Kevin graduated from Reidsville High School, and attended both East Carolina University and the University of Maryland. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed rooting for the Pirates and Terps, and was a passionate golfer since the young age of 4. He shared his talents with his children and was a PGA instructor in the Carroll County and Pennsylvania area, until his retirement. He loved his family and was proud of his children and grandchildren’s accomplishments, and would often cheer them on at various competitions.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children Jenna Register and husband Bryan of Brookfield, Wisconsin, Jon Walker of Westminster, and Lynn Brannock and husband Corey of Eden, North Carolina; sister Cheryl Roberts; grandchildren William, Thomas, and John “Teddy” Register and Trevor, Chase, and Ella Brannock. Additionally, there are numerous surviving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and other related family members.

A memorial service for the family will be private.
